The picture you see to the left was taken in May of 2011, in Aurora Colorado. That's Melissa Vaz celebrating outside our first and original location. Melissa had the vision in 2010 to create an All Curly Hair Salon, to specialize in all textures of natural hair. Since then, the stylists at More Than Curly have performed over 800,000 Curly Services and counting. Experience matters.
Melissa and her husband Jason Vaz, decided to expand the reach of the Salon services to the Greater Los Angeles area where there is no snow, but instead beaches, and where 2 of their 3 adult kids reside.
More Than Curly is an Aveda Partner Salon, and is currently seeking a partnership within a like minded location in the San Fernando Valley. This transition takes time, and the Colorado location will remain open to serve the many underserved textured clients in the Rocky Mountain Region.
